Eric Lamb joined Blackhorn Ventures as an Operating Partner in 2024, bringing over four decades of leadership at the intersection of construction, innovation, and venture investment.

As a co-founder and longtime executive at DPR Construction, Eric was instrumental in scaling the company into a top 10 U.S. general contractor with over $10 billion in revenue. He spent nearly three decades on DPR’s Management Committee, leading complex, large-scale projects across Advanced Technology infrastructure  and Commercial building sectors—including UCSF’s Mission Bay hospital and Austin’s Waterline skyscraper. Eric now serves on DPR’s Board of Directors.

Eric also serves as Managing Director at WND Ventures, DPR’s corporate venture arm, where he has backed transformative startups such as Trunk Tools, Dusty Robotics, and ALICE Technologies. His investment focus centers on AI, robotics, and automation technologies that improve productivity, safety and predictability in construction.

He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in Construction Management from Stanford.
